The MIR Parents group is reaching out to ask for your financial support. MIR supports the Russian Immersion Program at Turnagain Romig and West. Our mission is to provide cultural experiences to enhance and support the students, teachers and families to maximize the immersion learning experience.

Due to the pandemic we have suspended most of our in person fundraising efforts but have continued to offer as much support to the program as possible.  This is why your donation to this fundraiser is vital for  Russian Immersion Program to be successful in 2022!

Platinum level - $250 or more
Gold level donation - $200
Silver level donation - $150
Bronze level donation - $100             

*Any amount less than or greater than these will be most welcome and accepted with sincere gratitude.

Your donation will make the following programs and activities possible in 2022:

Start of school picnic/games/meeting. 
Father Frost weekend outdoor celebration with horse drawn sleigh, games and sled dogs. 
Father Frost visit at school and gifts for each elementary and middle school aged child. 
Russian after-school online and in-person classes
Funds to teachers to purchase immersion teaching supplemental materials.
Russian language summer camp. 
PTA partnership for Fall Fest
12th grade graduation ceremony
12th grade graduate gifts
6th grade graduation ceremony
International Women’s Day gifts and celebration
Teacher appreciation week
Nutcracker ballet and play with live student orchestra
Hosting Russian exchange students
Student exchange trip to Russia
United Nations Day Run
Frequent/regular after school Russian classes

Maslenitsa spring festival
Russian movie nights
Local and international performances for students
