United We Run - October 24, 2015
MIR Parents Inc. invites you to participate in the United We Run 5k/2k on United Nations Day, Saturday, October 24th, 2015 (10a.m.).
We are inviting all of the ASD language immersion programs (German, Japanese, Spanish Anchorage, Spanish, Eagle River and the Chinese FLES) to participate and see which program can field the largest team. We have a special trophy, the United Nations Cup, for the language program that fields the largest team. The pubic is welcome to sign up to be part of one of the language teams to help celebrate the diversity of language instruction in the Anchorage School District.
All finishers in the 5k distance will receive a custom United We Run Hoo Rag at the finish line. The 2k is an Healthy Futures event and all kid finishers will receive a medal at the finish line.
